Our Agency

Kids First Words is a speech & language therapy agency located in Frankfort, IL and services Will and Cook Counties. We specialize in speech-language therapy for children who have a wide variety of communication needs. All therapy is conducted in the child's home- the child's natural environment.

Our therapists have experience with many types of children with special needs such as autism, apraxia, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, articulation, and phonology. We are also active members of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Illinois Speech Language Hearing Association.

Our Philosophy

Treating “the whole child,” as it relates to involving the family in the child’s skill-building. We do this by gathering a comprehensive health history and identifying each child’s individual communicative needs. We provide therapy in a home-based setting in the child’s natural environment as described by the Early Intervention model.
