Therapy?
Speech-language therapy is the treatment for most kids with speech and/or language disorders. A speech disorder refers to a problem with the actual production of sounds, whereas a language disorder refers to a difficulty understanding or putting words together to communicate ideas.

Intervention Services
The Early
Intervention program of Illinois is a state-funded program that is designed to
help families and children age birth to three lead a better quality of
life. Kids First Words is credentialed through the Illinois Early Intervention program to provide early intervention services. Please visit the Illinois Department of Human Services for detailed information about the principles of the Early Intervention Program, or the Illinois Early Intervention Enrollment site for information about how to get started.
Kids First Words accepts a variety of insurance types. Final determination of services depends on eligibility and benefits verification. We provide speech therapy for children of all ages in a home-based setting. For more information, call (708) 466-5472. In order to learn if we are in-network for your insurance needs, contact your insurance carrier or visit their website. We also accept private pay clients.
